“Timelism III: Homologous Displacement” is the third exhibition in the long-term series by JCCAC artist Kaya Cheung (L5-18) of in_k_lab, exploring time and the modernity of ink art. The exhibition showcases the cross-disciplinary intersection of Eastern aesthetics and technology, and will bring audiences a brand-new visual feast of "Art × Technology × Cross-media" at the JCCAC L0 Gallery!

“Is AI a digital soul created by human?”He proposes the philosophical concept of “digital animism,” assuming the role of a “digital alchemist.” By moving beyond the constraints of physical Xuan paper, he translates the material qualities of ink—its rhythm, brushwork, and diffusion—into binary code within algorithmic systems.

As viewers enter the exhibition space, hidden data “collapses” in real time, merging with the artist’s hand-dyed ink textiles and transforming into responsive works imbued with warmth and rhythm.
